plus you should see my new haircut.  it's so rock n roll.   if i could figure out how, i'd take a pic with my blackberry and show you.  that may be more techy than i can manage at this late hour.

i know i'm not stating anything new but SWEETS IS SUCH A FANGURL!!!!!!!  he loves booth and brennan.  he does.  they are his otp.  he thinks they should be together forever and make cute little babies with little filanges and he'll come over and psychoanalyze them too. 

yeah, if you were wondering, i'm just catching up on this season.  and it's all right.  i was thrown by the first ep which i think was pretty bad but the subsequent ones get back in the swing of the old bones i love.  i love how sensitive and kinda prudish booth is and how he shies away when brennan talks anthropologically/dirty/sexy at him.  he's such a good catholic boy. 

i've just baked a cornbread pudding for a chili party i'm going to tomorrow and my whole little apartment smells delicious.

i'm a happy girl. 

oh shows.  how i will miss you over the summer hiatus.

how glad am i that after, what felt like, a totally (well, not totally, there was randy) disappointing himym, bones has a terrific cold open.  thank  you, show.  i love you.

just a fly by to say that it is monday night.  and since i am the best auntie in the world, i agreed to babysit enzo while josh and jenn went to see swell season.  yes.  i am that good.  no sweat, i thought, i'll watch himym and find bones online.  then dun dun dun!  since they're moving wednesday, the tv is packed up!!  no cable!! how can you have a babysitter without a tv, i asked myself, crying a little.   but lo and behold.  i return home here at midnight and both shows are in my newsgroup.  i am downloading as i type.  ah life, she is beautiful. 

now i only have to decide between sleep and my shows....if only every decision were this delicious.

i am so bored.  sheesh.  it's been a perfectly nice weekend and today's been just fine, but here it is 5 on sunday and i'm at a loose end.  i've had breakfast with friends, talked on the phone, tried to sell my tv, grocery shopped, done laundry, read some fanfic, watched doctor who and battlestar galactica.  all today so it seems like i should be all tuckered out and ready to sleep or something.  but instead i'm restless and bored.

i guess i'm just waiting with bated breath for bones tomorrow night.  after all the paley center squee, i can't imagine it living up to anything i've got in my head but i can't wait anyway.  i guess i'll watch some angel to get my boreanaz fix.  *sigh* 

oh and by the way, the wire is beyond awesome.  i'm deep in season 4 and dreading the end of it all. without being hyperbolic, i can say that everything about it is perfect.  thank you, david simon and ed burns. 

so excited that one of my new favorite authors in the bones fandom just finished a really good read called "unwell".  yummy booth taking care of poor sick brennan and risking all at the same time.  ooh, it's just delicious and might make you want to eat chocolate chip pancakes to boot.
lerdo is so good!  she has brennan down to a science (!) and her ust is fraught with, well, ust!  i love her guts!  go and read and love her too!

i don't usually pimp itunes because i don't like to pay for media; however, the bones podcasts are priceless and free!  i highly recommend them for anyone who'd interested in seeing more booth and bones banter around their counseling sessions.  it's pretty much made of complete win topped with the most delicious awesomesauce.   the only bummer is that it looks like there are only the 5 and they haven't made any since halloween.  who knows? maybe now the strike is over, they'll resume filming them.  i can only hope.
