ah excellent. i'm glad that's done because (selfishly) i have that whole list o stuff i want to buy and wasn't too excited to re-create it at another online store.

also i was wondering if you'd seen monimala's new veronica mars fic? she just published it today at her lj. and it's excellent!

Nope, I'll have to check that out. I'm not actually active in the VM fandom, although I loved the show.

As for amazon, if you need any lgbt point-making recs, Imagine Me and You and Kissing Jessica Stein are both genuinely funny movies with adorable characters and you definitely don't need to be gay to enjoy them.

I'm sorry, I thought my obvious sockpuppetry was, well, obvious by now. Veronica Mars got selected as my fandom-to-hide-behind because while I loved the show (which I caught all of on dvd in practically one sitting), I never did the fandom, and it's a genre outside of my usual interests.

Anyway, I did read the fic you recommended last night, and it was fantastic. So that's three total VM fics read in my life, and they were all excellent. I'm thinking I do need to play in that sandbox now, I like encountering high quality fanfic!
